ISLAND GIRL PAINTINGS
Inspired by the magic of sunsets on the Salish Sea. Each piece starts as a plank of scrap or reclaimed flooring. I paint rainbows & sparkles along the wood grain. The planks are cut and sanded into smaller pieces, and each piece becomes a miniature island landscape with hand painted details. They have become known as “happy little sunsets” and are a sweet little reminder of the beauty of the San Juan Islands & PNW. Handmade in small batches.

As a multi -media artist I currently work in watercolor, acrylic, chalk, drawing & hand lettering. Being well versed in multiple mediums and styles I love to use my creativity in a way that brings joy to others.
